Legal Tech Innovation Veteran Carlos Gámez Joins Frontline Managed Services as Chief Revenue Officer

Legal and professional services outsourcing solutions provider Frontline Managed Services® announces today the addition of Carlos Gámez as Chief Revenue Officer. Gámez is a longtime innovation leader in the legal technology community with extensive experience driving strategic business growth across global markets. He also brings experience on the buy-side of IT and financial management solutions having previously held in-house and law firm roles as a practicing intellectual property attorney. Gámez’s arrival immediately follows the company’s announcement that it has rebranded from Intelliteach to operate as Frontline Managed Services.

In his new role, Gámez is responsible for revenue-generation and strategy, including overseeing the sales organization, marketing and partner channels to execute company strategy in line with evolving client service needs.

Tech and Legal Experience to Improve Business Growth

Gámez is experienced working in close partnership with law firm and corporate legal department customers, as well as startups, academic institutions and legal industry associations. Before joining Frontline Managed Services, Gámez spent a decade at Thomson Reuters where he most recently held served as senior director of legal technology innovation. Throughout his time with the company, his responsibilities included in business development, strategy, legal operations, corporate development, product strategy, platform design, innovation and leading strategic commercial initiatives.

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Gámez worked with startups in different capacities in Silicon Valley. Before that, he practiced intellectual property law in one of Mexico’s leading law firms.

Gámez leverages his tech and legal experience to serve as a mentor for Techstars, a worldwide network focused on promoting success for entrepreneurs, and as an adjunct professor for IE Law School in Madrid. He is also an active speaker for industry organizations such as International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), International Bar Association (IBA), American Bar Association (ABA), Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC), Legal Geek, and Stanford-Codex, among others.

Gámez earned a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from the Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey (Mexico), a master’s degree in law (LL.M.) at Stanford Law School and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
