David Buergler

David Buergler joined the Company in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer, and in 2021 transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer. David historically has managed all external investor, banking, and vendor relationships as well as the internal financial and administrative functions, encompassing finance, accounting, human resources, facilities management, and a variety of strategic initiatives. David also now leads the effort to ensure exceptional service delivery across all segments of the business, as well as the continued expansion of the operating capabilities of the team, both on- and off-shore.  During his tenure, the employee base has evolved from 90 individuals to a team of over 800 professionals, located in nearly every US state, Canada, India, and the UK.

Prior to joining the firm, David served as Partner at V1 Ventures and Senior Vice President of its portfolio company, US Net, after having led a leveraged buyout of the business from its former owners. Prior to V1 Ventures, David served as Vice President of Operations for Millennium Digital Media (MDM), a top 25 Cable MSO, and its subsidiary US Net, a leading Internet Services Provider. While at MDM, David completed more than 18 acquisitions supporting the growth of the business, ranging from deal-sourcing and transaction execution to post-deal integration and operations. David also previously held positions in Finance and Information Technology at AT&T Wireless,and worked in Strategic Consulting for a number of leading healthcare providers.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA degree from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.

David enjoys traveling, golfing poorly, following college sports, and all manner of card and strategy games.
